Except for how the FDA has it scheduled and the fact the big pharma doesn’t want you using a plant that anyone can grow naturally to help since big pharma can’t make gobs of money off of it.
You mean similar to opium poppies? Besides it has been widely accepted that mj is nothing more than a placebo. Hell if I drink enough bourbon my back pain goes away as well, but that doesn’t make it medicinal.

If marijuana had true useful medicinal properties the pharmaceutical industry would’ve already been exploiting it. Ex: Heroin bad, prescription opioids good = both from the same plant.
It does have medical uses, as it’s a powerful antiemetic. The pharm industry has been marketing it for about 40 yrs as Marinol. It’s used to prevent nausea from chemotherapy. It’s also used as an appetite stimulant.

TLDR; Marinol is man made thus can be guaranteed to be the proper dose. Cannabis is a plant and inconsistent in dosage or strength. In other words, there’s no guarantee you’re getting the right dose, every time or that the quality of the plant is consistent. Thus why it is man made.

Most of the stuff like pain, seizures etc are easily remedied if you get high. The same way opioids work. Then there’s the side effects of Marinol and marijuana which out way the benefits. But hey, we all know the goal is to get high, that’s why 90+ % of medical marijuana card holders claim pain as their reasoning because pain is subjective and impossible to prove or disprove.

Same logic
Oxycodone is man made as well, thus can be guaranteed to be the proper dose. Opium is a plant & inconsistent in dosage or strength. Besides, you can buy marijuana in gummies by the milligram, therefore you can get the proper dose.

Same goes for other legal synthetic opioids like tramadol, fentanyl, etc.

False, this has been an ongoing problem with the “medical” marijuana industry. People are buying stuff with inconsistent doses, mainly because there isn’t any regulation but also because cannabis, like I said is a plant and very inconsistent.

Who's to say they aren't? Some of these grows might be financed and sold by big pharma but surreptitiously. Big pharma has a bad name among stoners.
