Queenie and Bruiser

Queenie is a primarily white tri-color beagle about 25 lbs. She should have her collar on her. She does respond well to squeaky toys.

Bruiser is a primarily brown tri-color beagle about 16 lbs. He has a hurt back left leg and is limping. He should have his collar on him as well.

Both dogs are microchipped and have tags on their collars.

We live at SW 44th and Council. Since my wife and I are unable to have kids these are our "babies". Please help us find them as soon as possible.

Now... some suggestions.

Get posters up quick. Offer at least a reward, but don't specify the amount. Be wary - there are a lot of horrible people who will try to scam people desperate for their lost dog. Make up a trait that they DON'T have - a heart shaped spot on the belly, a surgical scar inside the right ear... and if someone calls you to say they have your pet, ask them about that trait.

Make sure you call the shelters daily - even the ones you think might be too far. Not that long ago, we found a dog in Bethany that was lost in Norman. And, even though shelters are SUPPOSED to check for microchips, they are overworked, understaffed, and underfunded. They don't always.

Dogs get found every day. Keep looking.

I agree with all the above. + get an ad on Craigs list asap. Call Pets and People here in Yukon. I think they are closed for the day, but will be open in the morning. People bring dogs from all over, because they are a no kill shelter. This link has their number and address.
