I dont know about fitting the mods. because, quite frankly, the RIA Tactical already had everything I wanted........well worth the money for the upgrade from the gi to the tactical. (about $50 I think) I've been really happy with mine....after the first 200 rds. it's been flawless......and yes, I do own higher end 1911's.

+1! I picked up a RIA tactical 9mm 1911 a few weeks ago. It's not flashy or have impressive names on the slide, but it RUNS and is extremely accurate! I shot it last night at the H&H USPSA match without a single malfunction. I'm known to be kinda hard on equipment so I'm very impressed with how well this firearm performs under duress.
