I eat out everyday. Some days I lick out and the boss takes me or a supplier. I know I need to start making and taking but haven't done it yet.

I've been bringing lunch for thirteen years mostly to save money but also to eat half way healthy. If you put the numbers to it, eating out every day is crazy expensive! If you conservatively spend $5 a day, your EASILY looking at $4,000 a year! I know you'll have add whatever it cost to bring what it cost to bring your lunch every day but it should be significantly less than $5 each day. I have a lot better places to spend the extra money other than places that will help me gain weight!

+1 bring my lunch for the same reason

I do as previously stated, cook extra for dinner and bring it to work as leftovers/or make a sammich. I just don't understand the people that eat breakfast and lunch where I work then hit the vending machines for a snack later on and 4 20oz sodas a day/ they worked one hour of the day just to feed themselves.

I never take my lunch. I eat out or go home to eat.

I think a lot of it depends where you work and what they provide you in regards to breakrooms/facilities. My employer just built a brand new building and our breakrooms looks like something you would see in a nice cafe, so it's easier to eat lunch there. If I had something like a small, nasty break room, I might change my mind.
