Especially since you can buy more guns to fill it up.

If the pictures worked, I have a stand kind of like that one that works well. I just found the one that hangs that I'd really like to try too.

Are those strong enough to hold heavy pistols loke the 500mag or 50 desert eagle?

I ended up getting one of these for my 1911’s. Helps with my storage issue a little bit. Unlike what the picture shows, a 1911 does not work in the rack like it is pictured. Upside down they store the best.

I saw the pistol hangers for sale next to these racks and they didn’t look very strong. At least for heavy 1911’s anyways.

Also hold my 686s fine. Held both for 5 plus years. My bigger revolvers won’t fit or I’d use them too.

I use the under the shelf hangers like you have in your picture. They will hold a 1911 or Beretta no problem

I use these, too. Highly recommend them and I hang some pretty large revolvers from them. You can spread them apart or even pinch them together (slightly) to accommodate various sizes and widths of guns.
