Morels Yet Anyone?

Myself and two other friends went out to our respective honey holes and found nothing. My redbud starting blooming today so it shouldn't long. Ground conditions looked good.

Okay i know morels are mushrooms, but what exactly do you do with them? What makes them so special?

Heard of a few being found on the North Canadian between Canton and I-40 first of the week. I am not sure where exactly, they wouldn't share any details nor morels. It was only enough for an appetizer they told me.

We looked at our honey hole for an hour today, and found nothing.
Not only for frying, I put them in Italian dishes instead of Portabello's.

My mother in law went to her honey hole today and nothing the creek that ran through it was all dried up up. I wonder if the drought will affect this years shrooms?

Looked for sheds for a few hours today, and shrooms, no shrooms.
