Morels Yet Anyone?

There are a few to be found down here in southern Oklahoma. I haven't gotten to go yet, but a guy I work with found about 20 yesterday.

I have not seen any or heard of anyone getting any yet.

I went shed hunting today and didn't find any sheds or morels. I was hopeful I have never found any and really want to give them a try.

I usually don't start seeing them until turkey season. That's probably due to the fact I spend more time in the woods, but I am still planting food plots, filling feeders etc leading up to the season and rarely see morels. Give it a couple of more weeks, and with a little rain they should be out in full force.

We looked at our honey hole for an hour today, and found nothing.
Not only for frying, I put them in Italian dishes instead of Portabello's.

Wife found two day before yesterday which started an all out assault on finding more. But no more were captured. Be nice if the sun would come out after this rain.

I like the red ones. I am headed to my honey hole in a couple more days usually find a five gallon bucket full or so. I had a buddy that sold his on ebay and made a killing on them.
