As a typical young single man I generally pissed away my meager earnings on beer, bad women, gambling, and the rest I just wasted...So it was awhile before I finally accrued enough funds to get the Holy Grail of "cool" guns. The legendary Walther PPK! Geez what a cold shower that was. I ended up owning two because I had to make sure my first assessment wasn't an anomaly. It wasn't, I ended up trading them off. The main issue is the double action trigger pull, both of mine felt like about 25 lbs, give or take 5 lbs.
I have to agree. it was smooth but HEAVY! The one I traded for constantly bit me as well, due to hand size. I had a gunsmith carry the beveling on the bottom of the slide all the way to the back and remove the serrations on the trigger. That ended the biting, but I ultimately traded it off to someone else.

Definitely Glock and Python. Dan Wesson 1911s, too

I would throw Henry out there. Love the rifles, but feel like they are over hyped and over priced. Same with Kimber.

Not a firearm, but a cartridge; the 6.5 CM. Nothing but a weak .260Rem or 6.5x55, with a long neck. 🎤

OK I gotta ask, what make a DW 1911 overrated?
