Are these still available to civilians? Where do you get them?
Private citizens can sell if they can prove the obtained them legally.
Watch for Gov't stings like on Craigslist.
Its against the law for stores to sell genuine surplus MRE's .
Check your local Army surplus/Gun shops for aftermarket MRE's
Some of the brands are pretty tasty.
(Before anybody argues about selling them being legal or not.
I worked/owned Army surplus stores for almost 30 years and getting visits from
military investigators is not pleasant.) I know the rules.

The Tinker AFB commissary used to sell them. I will have to look if they still do when I am there next time.
