Anybody in here ever take Murry State College Summer NRA Gunsmithing Courses? I have just completed my second one and it was a blast! Last year I took their basic lathe courses and this year I took the rifle rebarreling course. I got to actually Blue print my Remington reciever and chamber it in 260 Remington IMP. Building a PRS rifle.

I took the basic lathe class years ago. It was very good basic class. MSC and Trinidad, Co. are the two best gunsmithing school in the country.
How long are these classes

I looked into it years ago, but just can't make it work long distance. I'm like Dennis ... if it was close, I'd be first in line!
That does sound like a good course.
I was planning to take a course this Summer, but work got stupid busy and I did not have the time. But next Summer, I'm looking to take at least the AR-15 course or the Pistol course.

Maybe we could get a car pool going?
Ive taken 2 classes. If you know anything at all about pistols I would look at a different class than the pistol class.
