NEED HELP!!! Removing a threaded flash hider

Step one - Go to your favorite range
Step two - Load 3 30rd mags of your favorite ammo.
Step three - Unload all mags by rapid fire !! Get it HOT fast !
Step four - Use the wrenches Dustin recommended to take of FH
Step five - Smile at the range patrol and tell them that was the proper way of taking the FH off !!!

Anytime I need to grip something round without messing it up I drill the appropriate size hole in a block of hard wood then cut a slot on one side of the hole. This makes a wood clamp you can put in a vice or grab with vice grips.

That snap ring has nothing to do with it. It's for the mechanism that keeps the suppressor on snug.

It's done now - took it to Steve at Cold Hand Arms. Thanks for all the help folks.
