Good luck with keeping criminals honest. Jail makes them better criminals IF they are caught, sentenced, and actually serve time. You will never see any restoration money, even if it is awarded to you by the court. It is a hard world to keep your things yours in anymore. Maybe a little cynical on my part, but it is getting late for me. Other than an ominous deep growl or bark, I don't know much that keeps folks out of your stuff while you aren't there. I have heard that just placing "Beware of Dog" signs and a food bowl out for folks to see has cut back on mischief to some degree, even if you don't have a dog.

My once awesome subdicivion in Moore has gone to hell in recent years. mailboxes, stop signs getting gang tagged, Subwoofers driving by in the wee hours of the morning. I recently installed a defender 6 camera system and have it displayed on an alternate HDMI input on my tv for quick access. I'd highly recommend one to anyone, for $350 it's a great tool that records 24/7, had motion capture and alarm features.

Harrybear, what neighborhood do you live in. If your HOA has not done so, have them call Jeremy Lewis at Moore PD. He is the PIO and also comes to HOA meetings and speaks with them about neighborhood watches and crime prevention.

xnavychief, how about you, what neighborhood do you live in? Luckily mine has no stop signs so they can't tag them. LOL Also do you have a link to the camera system that you installed?
