New camp knife

Be advised before proceeding with the rest of this thread: You will find this boring, and will have zero interest in it. Its also very likely you will not be impressed.

I was bored today, so I took one of the dozen or so old files I have and decided to make a throw-around camp knife out of the biggest.

OH GOD, CALL 911!!! I'M GONNA DIE!! This wasn't even done with the blade edge, I slipped and caught the back of the file.

I put a couple pieces of nylon rope along the side to give it a little more substance to hold on to.

And then wrapped it in some black vet wrap I had left over from a little gun project I did.

I'm sorry. I'm so so sorry you had to sit through that. Here's something for your trouble.

Freakin kids these days with no respect for their elders.

I've got like 45 minutes of work in it, and the majority of that was spent tearing the house apart trying to find the roll of wrap.
