I'd look at the XDS or XDm 3.8 in .45 . You said striker fired but man i've been looking at the sig 938 in 9mm as well. Lot of different looks in those, something for everybody and comes with night sights. I just purchased the XDSC 9 and like it pretty well. Paired with a crossbreed it seems very doable for concealed carry.
I carried a glock 23 for a year, then went to a sub compact xd for 2 years, then to a beretta nano for a year and I just bought a xds and it is freaking awesome. Just ordered a new holster from comptac for it. Great gun
