If I am not mistaken I have a friend who is a member of Medi-share. Let me email her and double-check. Any specific questions you guys want me to ask??
How Medi-Share WorksThat video is considerably different than your previous post. To the end user it's not a lot different than insurance. You have a monthly premium, copay, and the bills are coded and go to the provider. The accounting at the provider is different, but the end user doesn't really know the difference for the most part.
As a business model I don't for the life of me know why this couldn't work far better than our current system as long as it's managed properly. Get the .gov out of the way and see what happens. A few large groups form nationally and BOOM! Insurance will transform itself.
Your correct, and we are looking at them as well.I believe there is more than one "medishare" type deal available.
That is exactly what it is.What happens when there are too few new members to meet the bills incurred? This sounds erriely like a ponzi scheme.
Samaritan's Purse is a charity. There is a medical sharing plan called Samaritan Ministries mentioned here.I think there is one called Samaritan’s purse. I heard about it on American family radio ( a Christian station). Supposedly it is great. I have no idea if it is or not. May be something to check in to.
