6. Problem status. 1/29/14. Back in Nov I submitted a 5320.20 ( change of address ). ATF sent letter to dealer requesting a corrected form 4. Good thing I called for status because dealer acted like they weren't going to do anything to help me.
Examiner...Frushour -----Jason Frushour was very helpful getting this cleared up. Frustrating dealer has been sitting on this and also that the form 5320.20 being submitted during pending status caused all of this.
I did not move out of the state. I was under impression the ATF sends you your approval or stamp to the address on the form 4 correct? I then take that to the dealer for him to release to me? Dealer said he gets everything in and then calls me when they are going to release it to me ?

Dealer gets the paperwork. Until the stamp is approved/delivered and you complete the 4473 for transfer, it is not yours but the dealers, even though you own a financial interest in the item.
