Bingo! Collard Lizard - The State Reptile of Oklahoma. I took pictures of this critter at our place in New Mexico. We have an abundance of lizard of various types there, but only saw this one time in 2012 and since then. I had to do some research and found out it is the OK State reptile. I've never seen one in Oklahoma.

Huh. Had no idea we have a state lizard.

Hmmm... is there a list of "state items" in totality somewhere?
