all you got to have is a car and live somewhere around hefner and nw expy..I hit two there last year, my wife actually just Got hit by one. Damn those things do damage. Scared the heck out of her.. hit the side of her volvo, rear door won't open, blood on the car...I did the CSI thing and prayed it wasn't human...was damn grateful when I found the deer hair. She did not know what happened and thought a car had crossed the line and side swipped her..She was unhurt just shook up. Be careful out there, these things can do you damage..driver slower than normal around these ruraler areas. I bought hit a little doe on morgan road out by surrey, this is the 3rd one on or near that stretch of hefner west of county line and across nw expy. Course maybe that would be a good place to lay up with a crossbow....might not do rifle or bp as there is a OHP office near that corner, lol.

Have seen quite a few hit and it depends on where they are hit as to if they're any good eating. Those hit in the front portion seem to make the best eating...:teach: and yep they sure are plentiful this year.

if anyone wants one, it is just east of hefner and nw expy, south side of the road, directly south of the little abandon house. Got hit at 10pm last night..nice 6 point buck...if one of you all get it, my daughter wants the antlers.

I have been thinking about building a small stretch of highway through were I hunt and turn on a traffic noise recording and then get in the stand, and act like I am adjusting my rear view mirror. I guess that would bring them out of the woods, my little brother doesn't even hunt and he has killed more deer in the past 3 years than I have but his have all been with a truck or his jeep and pisses me off because he hits really nice bucks.

don't do it..I can show you where one is that I can tell you with authority they are at. Hell, Highway on 3 sides...it is a triangle of trees. Only one around..Guess they are feeding in the open field then run across to the trees, that buck was coming out of the trees though.

Yeah this one was hit on the front. All of the meat on the front was no good, but the ass end was still good to eat
