Nothing $10,000,000 wont fix! This poor old man had to be in his late 70s or early 80s. Policeman felt a forced takedown was in order? Wow! I you notice the policeman set the take down up and proceeded to throw the old man that probably weight 120 lbs. The city will be trying to settle this out of court because they know what a Jury would do!

So using a product of Hollywoods imagination to suggest how cops should work seems a little, ummm, unwise? To me, anyway. I grew up out near LA, but left there at age 18. Been here in the OKC metro nearly a third of my life. Seen a few worse places, and not many I'd consider better. And those places haven't been the same for some time.

He touched the cop at that point you're bought and paid for. I always thought this was a universal truth everyone knew.
My wifes little mean Grandmother poked me in the chest several times over voting for Ronald Reagan! I escorted her to front door and told her leave. She left! No body slam necessary!

Officer never should have let it get to that point over a ticket.

I had many refuse to sign. Write "refused to sign" on the signature line. If they refuse to take it just put it under their windshield wiper, verbally explain the court date and consequences of not showing up and exit the scene.

I’m glad you said that because that idiot cop needs AN ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT. My generation were taught to never treat an old man that way. In fact my dad would have surely given me an attitude adjustment if as a cop I’d been filmed doing that to the old man.
Respect taught at my home growing up comes in many forms.
Meh, old man was disagreeable too. Cop doesn't have stay and listen to it. Issue the ticket and leave.

I've gotten into my car and left many calls once my business was done even if people still wanted to continue to argue.

But he does. How will he let everyone know who's in charge if he leaves?
