From everything I have seen, the old guy did not touch him, but waggled his finger in the cops face. If true, the cop was in the wrong. If not true, depends on how hard the old guy poked him with his finger. Did it leave a bruise or penetrate his vest?

Gentleman could have been Charged with Assault of a Peace Officer. The charge results in arrest, was the officer in immediate danger due to the assault, I do not think so. There was time to tell the Gentleman he was under arrest. This did not happen. The fellow was not resisting to justify any type of physical action against him either.
When the Officer chose to take him down with intent, that assault charge committed by the Gentleman ceased to exist and became, Felony Assault and Battery, committed by the Officer. Intent to do harm can easily be seen in the action against the Fellow, by the Officer.
Makes Law Enforcement look like the Bad guys.
OKC PD should recognize this and separate there selves from these types and weed them out. If the Internal Investigation does not find the officer guilty and charge him with a Felony, then yes they are the Bad Guys.
