From everything I have seen, the old guy did not touch him, but waggled his finger in the cops face. If true, the cop was in the wrong. If not true, depends on how hard the old guy poked him with his finger. Did it leave a bruise or penetrate his vest?

Seriously I am normally pro-cop but sometimes they take it to far.

Interesting. Both of my parents spent time growing up in the Asian world. I’ve never heard before that using “Oriental” to describe people as inflammatory or derogatory.

Oriental just means from the Orient which is a term for a geographical area east of Europe and usually includes most of Asia or maybe just east Asia. As far as I can tell being offended by it is like you said, someone just coming up with new ways to be offended.

Seems like both of the Men were at some degree of fault.

Gentleman could have been Charged with Assault of a Peace Officer. The charge results in arrest, was the officer in immediate danger due to the assault, I do not think so. There was time to tell the Gentleman he was under arrest. This did not happen. The fellow was not resisting to justify any type of physical action against him either.
When the Officer chose to take him down with intent, that assault charge committed by the Gentleman ceased to exist and became, Felony Assault and Battery, committed by the Officer. Intent to do harm can easily be seen in the action against the Fellow, by the Officer.

Makes Law Enforcement look like the Bad guys.

OKC PD should recognize this and separate there selves from these types and weed them out. If the Internal Investigation does not find the officer guilty and charge him with a Felony, then yes they are the Bad Guys.
I hope the Department does the right thing.

no, when called that, they don't overreact like a black person, being called an N word. They might put extra "fish" sauce on your food, but they don't want to shoot up your house or jump you.

Can you show us on a doll where an officer touched or hurt you? Even Ronnie Milsap can see the biased hate towards LE. Yeah they both Fkd up. But that cop who was pleasant towards the woman hit by the guy didnt just turn homicidal. What he did do was underestimate his opponents weight.
