Second rumor,Shawnee, Oklahoma; Way before the Shawnee Mall was built, either where it is now or just to the West of it, an investor was going to build a Six-Flags type amusement park there.
I heard this one for quite a few years...never happened.

And the aforementioned property is still sitting empty with the same huge pricetag....

Length 13503'. 150' wide.
It's rumored to 40' thick in places. I believe it started as a Naval Air Station in WW2. It must have enjoyed great success the German nor the Japanese ever invaded Oklahoma.
