Oklahoma Youth Hunting Program

It is time to sign up eligible youth for the OYHP Deer Camp 2023. We provide these hunts mostly FREE of Charge to parents/youth. We only require the parent/youth to have transportation to the hunt location, the youth to have passed ODWC Hunter's Education and have purchased the Oklahoma Youth Deer License and Youth Hunting License if required. Dates is October 19th-22nd, 2023. We accept youth ages 10-17 from non hunting homes. Oklahoma Youth Hunting Program

Looks like we will be able to introduce over 60 youth to hunting this fall. Spots are filling up.

We have an All Girls Hunter Deer Camp that has a few more spots!

We also have openings for a few young men as well.

We would like to fill all 65 spots for OYHP Deer Camp! Participants will learn firearm safety, outdoor skills, deer hunt, tracking deer and processing deer! Lifetime friendships are made at these camps!

I'm taking two 10 year old and one 8 year old hunting this year. Not at the same time. It's going to be fun!

What general area will the hunts take place? I might be able to help out on the 19th or 20th depending on location. Cook and/or general camp help would be my forte. Hunting guide too if it just means getting someone to/from a blind!

We have hunts at Geary, Pawnee, Bartlesville, Drumright, Holdenville and Hugo.
