Now that Rush is gone looking for background noise in my shop. Any chance of an oldies station in Tulsa? Ideally it would be using the play list from KOMA in about 1959 but pretty sure that is too much to ask for.
I tried iHeart but got really tired of the same twenty five songs and the constant stoppage of service. No matter if I was stationary in a chair all day or cross country driving the dang music just stopped. I had to stop the iHeart service and reboot the phone. Sometimes that didn't even work.I hope you find one. We lost ours in the city so I had to go with satellite radio. I'll send you a PM for a neat deal on that one. Seems like "oldies" is now considered stuff like CCR (Creedence Clearwater Revival), which is obviously classic rock or 70's music, not Oldies. That's a hill I'll die on.
Edited to add: I love me some CCR, don't think this was a dig at Fogerty in any way at all. That poor guy deserved so much more than he got.
There's a low powered FM station in the S. Tulsa area called KOKT 90.9 that I listen to daily.
Not really an "underground" station but plays 70's album stuff mostly.
My favorite station in the Tulsa area.
