Bernie makes Port Aransas Tx!
Some knitting club made these caps to put on bollards along the beach.
About 200 yards of them, with each being a work of art.

Orchards after the Tx freeze that were totally devastated.
It will be three years before they can produce a crop after requiring being pruned.

Check out the doors on this pickup!

Interesting story on this pic. We were on the jetty at Port Aransas and heard a helicopter overhead.
Wife’s phone got a text from a family friend that is retired military and lives in Corpus as a civilian contractor teaching Blackhawk pilots how to fly combat maneuvers sending the text.
It was him flying overhead.
We had dinner with him and his wife later that evening.

Yeah, we socially distanced.
Guitar player was a backup guitar player for Willie Nelson back in the day. He was a heck of a player.

Saw Trump on his last road trip to the wall to sign it.

As an after thought, I guess I should mention that we are back from our short trip to Colorado so the wife could have sister-time. About the only pictures I took up there were of the Paint Mine Interpretive Park, which most of the photos have to wait to be uploaded to my Smugmug site. Wifi up there was terrible, and morning is the best time for uploading here where we now live.

Oh, and the wife has been exceptionally good to me again....

....these arrived here in Oklahoma today.

Both lenses are for the new Nikon Z6 mirrorless camera that the wife bought for me this last year before going on our Utah and Arizona vacation.

Absolutely YES!!!!

The first one is the Nikkor Z mount 24-70mm f/2.8 S (the f/2.8 means that the images will be sharp) and the second one is the Nikkor Z mount 70-200mm f/2.8 S. Nikon has come out with the companion Nikkor Z mount 14-24mm f/2.8, but I probably won't buy that one. No more than I use the 14-24mm f/2.8 in the F lens mount, I'll just use it with the FTZ (F mount to Z mount) adapter on the Nikon Z6 camera.
