It’s horribly dry at my place here in east Texas, and I decided yesterday to get a few animals off my feed bill. One of the ones that got the boot was a red Brahman bull I raised a couple years ago. He’s been dog gentle and eats out of my hand, and he loaded super easy into the trailer. However, when it came time to unload him at the sale barn, he got PISSED, and it took almost 30 minutes to get him out of the trailer. When he finally came out, he was mad at the world.
I’ve kept a horse for about 15 years, but he’s become a pasture decoration and doesn’t really bring anything productive to the table. I’m taking him to get a coggins test today, and he’s going down the road too.

I’ve already warned my wife that she could be next on the chopping block. :anyone:

Good evening gang,
Had a good long day today. I loaded up on Benadryl yesterday and last night. My left arm is much better today. Most of the swelling is gone and I can bend about 50 percent and okay. Should be back to normal tomorrow.

Hope everyone had a great Monday.
Good deal. My wife has to go to the ER every time she gets a wasp bite.

Yes, I am blessed not to be allergic to them. I have been stung many times but this was the first time I was attacked by lots of them. I hate the the little flying demons.
Sorry to hear about hat your wife is so allergic to them. I have a friend that is the same. He hardly ever comes out to the lake house for the fear of getting stung.

My wife is kind of an “artsy” person. Does a lot of things with glass.

So this morning, she said get your Azz out of bed we have a class.
I was sure it had to be something like how to be a bourbon tasting contest judge or something similar, but nooooo.
It’s an acrylic art class on canvas.
WTF did you sign me up for woman! Get in the kitchen and make me a ham sammich!
Well, it didn’t actually happen that way and off we went.
We actually learned two techniques. One there are no pics of, and these that we finished.
It doesn’t use a brush, but is a pour on after layering the acrylic in a cup. A couple of the colors are mixed with silicone oil so cells are created. The canvas is inverted, cup applied to the center, turned with the cup on top and then cup raised. As the colors spread, the canvas is manipulated to make sure all is covered. It’s messy and requires an overnight sit to dry.
I’m no true artist like Hunter Biden, but it sure turned out interesting.
Wife wants to do a big one to hang in the house when we get home.

Hers is first and mine is second.
