No wanton waste. It's perfectly legal. Same as hunting over a deer gut pile.
Interestingly enough the wanton waste law was brought out by people catching carp and gar below dams, then throwing them on the bank thinking they are "helping" to get rid of them. The stench was overpowering at times.
How it can be used by a GW for game is unknown to me.
I've heard that using ducks or geese for baiting cage traps for cats was illegal, wasn't sure how this would compare...smoke a pack I say!

I don't think baiting with carcasses is illegal. If they are alive, that may be illegal. There are live catch traps that have a cage in the back for live bait like domestic chickens or domestically raised quail.
I'd have to scour the regs to see if those are legal in Ok.

While in Utah back about 5 or 6 years ago, the wife and I went to hike the Willis Creek Slot Canyons near Cannonville, Utah. On our way there, we found this museum there in Cannonville, so we stopped there to see what they had and get instructions on how to get to Willis Creek. They had some interesting displays outside, with this one being how they settlers got water to their homes. And to think that where I grew up in the Oklahoma Panhandle, the nearest river was about 20 miles away.

Almost didn’t give you a thumbs up because of the Neil Diamond CD. Hope you’re enjoying retirement!

Actually the phone guy ... In his one-dot Indian accent said "You phone!! Dis is OLD!!" 😂😂😂😂

Let me just say -- there is no more effective torture in the modern world that making an old woman get a new phone. 🤦🤦🤦🤦 I'm sure it will be fine once I get used to it but until then 😭😭😭😭😭 ... Lol

Somewhere in Wyoming along the North Platte River. We were up there for a 3-week job with our Summer work in 2020. Oddly enough, right in the midst of the Dempanic, we found a hotel/motel that still served breakfast, even though all the other hotels we encountered that year had quit serving. So, if you are ever in Lusk, WY, look up the Best Western there.

One picture from the Best Western. In addition to the breakfast served inside, they made up custom omelettes at the wagons in the courtyard area.

What great day. Son and 8 year old grandson joined me at our 80 acre hideaway. Was originally going to try some bow hunting until he discovered the string on his crossbow broke while in the safe. So we did a little predator calling using his AR. No takers. Then decided to just go and do some shooting. Grandson tried out most of the firearms except the 12ga Keltec bull pup shotgun. Got to try out the suppressor on my 9mm Hellcat, Browning 1911 22, Sig 365, Henry small game carbine, Ruger 22/45 and the Ruger AR.

priceless
