Our new restaurant in Ponca City

Ate lunch there today (Sunday) and I'd say the staff is not quite ready for prime time, both front and back of house. Our waitress obviously forgot us for a while after taking our order then not returning with the drinks. Due to the amount of time to get our food and seeing others who had arrived after us receive their orders, it became clear she forgot to enter our order in a timely fashion. A fellow diner at another table complained about their chicken-fried steak, returning it to the kitchen who came out with some weak story and replacing the order with ribs. My complaints at check out netted a $5 discount on the ticket. The waitress got 10% for a tip - hope she notices. I might give them another shot in the future or maybe choose the Dixie Dog or Freddy's Steakburger.

I ate there last Thursday. It was after prime lunch time, so not a lot of folks in there. No OC that I could see.
Ordered the chicken fry, fries and okra with a salad. Real round steak CF. Pretty good, but it needed a little more seasoning in the batter.
Nice salad bar.

It was like that last time I ate there too. Took a party of 4 people 2 hours from time of order until food arrived... I figured they were working out the kinks, but that was months ago. I do miss it in its hay-day though. They used to have some good ribs... but like any town that's shrinking, all the good stuff moves out. Freddie's was awesome the time I had it.

I buy their dry rub by the pound. It is by far my favorite for, well about anything!
