Asus is from Taiwan. Not the same as China. The majority of computing chipset products are made in Taiwan, not the mainland.

I know, I mentioned them as a company that used to export parts and then graduated to exporting complete machines.
What I am trying to say is that we don't make the parts, we cannot go to the next step and that we are also not going to be able to be part of designing the future machines. Our kids will not become engineers if the jobs are in China or Taiwan or India.

Did anybody watch Palin's Alaska?
I did, I think they picked the wrong style for the show with her doing all the talking.
Regardless of the show style I think she has more testosterone than Barry.
She knows how the city slicker Liberals hyperventilate when they see real folks with guns and she knows that they will try to use it against her. Still, she is not backing off.
She even went halibut fishing where you have to hit the fish on the head to stun it. Another reason for the PETA types to hate her.
Compare her with wimps like HW Bush who quit the NRA to appease the Left.
She is my kind of girl. I like her.

I am REALLY looking forward to her campaign against Romney in the industrial states and her campaign against Huck in the southern states.

I agree with you, nothing unusual about being staged. How else can they make the show? It was planed, routes selected etc.
What I liked is what they selected for the show, which is completely different than if Barry had to do the same.
That's what makes her my girl. I dig what she does and says, the way she thinks.
Can't wish for change and keep doing the same thing, with the same run of the mill politicians.

I don't know about that, she and her husband are against outsourcing our jobs. She is for drilling and taking advantage of our oil and gas.
These two alone are mostly responsible for the screwing of the middle class. With no manufacturing and a destructive trade deficit, the middle class is toast.
She is the only politician to say "Drill baby drill". The rest are too scared to promote drilling.

As Governor of Alaska, she cleaned house of crooked bureaucrats and elected officials, Republican as well as Democrats. Why do you think her ideals will change. Of course folks will try to change her mind, but I think she has shown she talks the talk and walks the walk.
