Early detection helps, but pancreatic is one of the worse.

Dad retired, had a very thorough physical before retiring and pronounced clear. Got sick 3 months later. Took 2 months and 4 Drs took diagnose liver and colon cancer. 4 months later, he was gone.

Been 30 years, yesterday.

Praying for Paul.

hope so too, but i think the 1 year survival rate for pancreatic cancer is like 10%....usually by the time you find it, it's too late.
That is what I hear, too. Next door neighbor's wife got to feeling unwell, saw the doc the next week, got diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and died two weeks later. It's not usually that fast, but can be.

Sorry man. We all gotta go out sometimes but cancer is a brutal way to go.
