Whats sad is there are a lot of members here that I really learned a lot from but I just got tired of the attitude from the remaining 90% of people who think they are always right. I got tired of the personal attacks just because you may disagree.

I thought I was the only one. I guess that was arrogant of me. I know what you mean. Don't leave me alone with this bunch!

The attitude that you speak is the exact reason why I really no longer visit this board anymore. If you don't agree with the general consensus then you must be the enemy and you are stupid. If you don't want to run every muslim out of the country you must be a terrorist. If you don't believe that we should be giving guns to convicts as they leave the prison and young children to carry openly all the time then you must be a socialist commie dumb a$$.

Love how this thread has drawn out the "Oh, someone was mean to me on an internet forum" whiners. Seriously, like BB said, if you are that thin skinned then stay out of the general discussion and legal portions of the board. Still plenty to participate in on the shooting and gear side of things.

This attitude amazes me ... There is absolutely no reason on the planet for anyone here to get their panties wadded up in a bunch just because their opinion is not the majority here. Jesus H Fng Christ ... if the people on this board were that unreasonable I would never had made it to 20K posts ... Christ ... the first I heard of OKShooters I was being lambasted in a thread as a racist.

You guys need to take a long hard look in the mirror and figure out what you stand for. Then, right or wrong, take that stand and move on. If you are wrong, man up, admit it and take your beatdown. Now you are making them visit forums that they don't visit, and it is making them upset. Then you go off and act like you are in a majority of pro-gunners on this gun forum. It makes me want to visit a forum that I don't visit and complain. lol. I am sure that Oklahoma has never had a crooked politition. I am sure that when Brad Henry started to veto bills in the end, it had nothing to do with future plans. You just need to leave the poor guys alone. lol

Man, would have thought an opinion based on 20 years of personal experience would have caused so much pain and agony ... ohhhhhh ... another "A" word.

Seriously though, the point still remains that anyone would be hard-pressed to find a person here who was treated as roughly as I was BEFORE I even became a member. I'm still here. And I have more than a few friends here. Life is what you make of it.

I've not said anyone wasn't entitled to their opinion of me and what I think ... but that knife cuts both ways. And in the grand scheme of things I doubt very seriously if any fella out there worth his salt is gonna lose too much sleep over what some old woman on a gun board thinks of his opinion of her opinion or how she voices it.

Soo ... back on topic ... I'm sorry to ask but it's because I don't know ... what's your stance on open carry?? As you can see from some of my posts above I'm not "for" it but I'm not against it either. Those who believe that this is a way to regain some of our lost ground with regard to 2A do have a compelling argument IMHO.
