Shame on the Tulsa County Fairgrounds:

The Tulsa State Fair has animals, rides, and unusual foods…but not the opportunity to sign a petition to legalize medical marijuana as supporters originally intended. Green the Vote Oklahoma volunteers claim they went through the process to get a fairgrounds booth, but were frozen out. Spokesman Josh Lewelling assumes it’s because of the subject matter.

what a waste of time and effort! .. odds are there will be plenty of folks in Oklahoma willing to support total legalization of marijuana and not just for medical reasons.

it's not like other states' legalization of pot is a secret ..

But OKNORML and the other groups supporting this effort don't want total legalization - they want to create a new rent-seeking industry.

They had a table in front of Carl Jr in Shawnee getting signatures for the medical Mary Jane. I signed it but gotta admit its kinda worrying putting your name on a petition like that. Don't know how long they will be out there.

The Billions and Billions being spent on a War that can't be won, would be better spent on Education and prevention. Stop all the kids shooting each other over territorial rights. The only bad thing about weed is, it makes most people lazy

Thats not true at all. The coincidence that a lot of lazy people use weed makes it appear that way.
