Give it 20 to 30 years. :D :D

Your last line earned more of my respect then most of the pro-pot folks here. Too many seem to take it personal that I do not agree with legalizing drugs. How one guy on an internet forum can twist so many panties into a knot by disagreeing with something none of us have any control over is amazing. :D :D

On a serious note,

CO 2year old hospitalized after ingesting pot.

I don't take discussions personal unless insults start to get thrown around. I actually like to debate touchy topics, because you can be as calm as possible and someone will want to fight you lol It gets funny to me, it's an opinion, everyone has them. Just because someone doesn't agree with is no reason to get all jumpy. Some of the best discussions are born from differing opinions. If everyone agreed on everything we'd all just be walking around going "yep, yep, true, yep, yep"

Exactly!!! I have always felt that everyone is entitled to their opinion and in this country we are free to express it. Some tend not to agree unless you think the same as they do.

Sure, everyone is entitled to his opinion... however, he is not entitled to have others grant it the same respect as any other opinion, or to withhold judgment on it on moral and/or logical grounds.

Yes to all of the above, then I outgrew the need.

I don't have a need. I don't even have that much of a desire. It's been years since I last partook, and even then it had been several years since the previous time.

However, I believe it is truly un-American to jail people for accessing a plant, and I believe it would be very un-Christian of me to forcefully deny access to part of God's creation.

I think Colorado almost has it right. I've thought about going through Colorado's law and adapting it to Oklahoma with two minor changes: treating cultivation of marijuana the same way we treat cultivation of tobacco, and a lower tax (the current tax rate in Oklahoma for marijuana is $98/oz).

I agree with you wholeheartedly.

I have tried very hard not to discuss the morals of some of you wanting to enable self destructive behavior in others, just so you can get high. :D :D

That is the strangest argument yet.

I like it.

I personally believe it is immoral to forcefully limit another person's freedom of choice, whether or not they choose to hurt themselves. Them abusing that freedom and causing harm to others is entirely on them.

RickN, you were no angel in those days, so you should not be finger wagging the young crowd on this issue.
