How about Meth. I mean if people only do it in the privacy of their own home. Why do those meth addicts have to screw up doing meth for the rest of us? Pills? Why does some doctor get to decide if I can take a pill or not. Why can't ALL drugs just be on the shelf at Walmart next to the aspirin?

That's how it is in some countries.

Seems preferable over creating a black market that encourages violence, crime, and doesn't pay tax back into the system.

Yep! They're gonna do it anyway. If they OD, get hepatitis and all that, cheaper to treat'em and street'em, than to incarcerate them.

It could also alleviate the prison system. Set up rehab centers and help people instead of ruining their lives with absurd prison sentences.
(but like I said, police and prison unions stand to lose a lot of money)

Luckily, legalizing meth is not an option on the table.

Probably more so, since for the most part, doobies go unfiltered. I think these days bowls are in, but I'm not sure, I just don't know. I sure as hell wouldn't smoke after another user. Used to be, a person that couldn't roll was laughed at. A really good head, was one that could roll one handed. But to get back to your point - yes; it's rough on the lungs, and a pot smoker would be far sighted to invest in a quality bong.

Edibles and vapes are the healthiest way to get THC/CBD/CBN in the bloodstream.
