ILEGAL alcohol has destroyed countless lives.
ILLEGAL drugs have destroyed countless lives.

Lesson learned:
Weak willed people who need chemicals to get thru life are going to use them whether illegal or legal and destroy their lives.

Making a chemical illegal does nothing but turn otherwise law abiding citizens who would/do use the illegal substance responsibly into felons.

Wait! Whaaaat?

“KNOW YOUR DOPE FIEND. YOUR LIFE MAY DEPEND ON IT! You will not be able to see his eyes because of the Tea-Shades, but his knuckles will be white from inner tension and his pants will be crusted with semen from constantly jacking off when he can't find a rape victim. He will stagger and babble when questioned. He will not respect your badge. The Dope Fiend fears nothing. He will attack, for no reason, with every weapon at his command-including yours. BEWARE. Any officer apprehending a suspected marijuana addict should use all necessary force immediately. One stitch in time (on him) will usually save nine on you. Good luck."

It seems the thread has derailed (as usual) away from a medicinal purpose to a skew of potheads are behind it...

There's no telling what medicinal cannibis extracts could do to benefit the human species. Imagine treating back/neck injuries with a carefully measured brownie as opposed to daily pain pills that destroy organs over time. A non-habit forming sleep aid for those with severe insomnia. And with more research, a probable cure for cancer without bio-nuclear radiations...

There is something profoundly wrong with our state legislature to ignore the will of the people so much so that they won't even allow medical marijuana to be debated or granted an interim study, much less being brought up for a vote, when such an overwhelming majority of their constituents clearly support this. If that's not the definition of broken, dysfunctional, government; what is?

don't have to legalize meth for medicinal purposes because it is already legal. doctors prescribe it to children and fat people...

being schedule 2, it has recognized medical uses, and is considered less dangerous than marijuana.
hopefully even tee-totalers can agree that meth is more dangerous than weed.
