As Taurus currently charges "$450 for a $150 firearm", I don't see any possibility of a price break on any of the listed companies. I can see Taurus investing in a technology/other foriegn market to bring manufacturing costs down, but that wont translate to lower final product costs. It's a business to make money... They will make as much as possible

I know Taurus has a handful of satisfied fanboys out there, I certainly know a few in person. And I'm genuinely happy those poor souls are happy with their paperweights. But most I know play the part of satisfied customer just to protect their own ego...

The manufacturing part of Tarus is totally different from the financial part of the business.
The financial part of the business typically looks at numbers from the individual business units, and makes reccomendations to improve the overall business performance of the business units. Individual business units have internal engineering resourses that make the difference of a profit or loss. Almost all of the gun makers in the US and other locations use CNC machinery, which can certainly hold better tolerances, hence the reason rack guns can now use factory ammo to get accuracy that my grandpas gun could do with a lot of reloads to find the "sweet spot".

After seeing, feeling, and examining many of Tauri... I'm almost convinced they championed the original "All you need is a drill press" method of gun manufacturing lmfao

I know, I'm a Taurus hater... But as a judge owner, I'm a pretty proud hypocrite

I hate Taurus because all they do is copy other people's designs. Anything original from Taurus sucks donkey d*ick. What do they make that people like? The beretta copy, the 1911 copy, the S&W revolver copies, what else? What original design do people like? Uhhh, nothing.

Imitation is the highest form of flattery, true. But a company that is based on imitations is a farce.

I like taurus and rossi revolvers. The are not the quality of Smiths, but dont cost as much either. If Taurus buys freedom, i dont expect they would change manufacturing processes. But who knows
