Ok here goes I am in danger of loosing my job, and would like your opinions on the issue that is the cause of it. This is gonna be kinda long but I appreciate the help.
I am a Top Flight Security Officer at a casino in Oklahoma so basically the same as a cop but more qualified. For yall that dont already know, the only way to operate a casino in Oklahoma is for it to be on Tribal land and owned by a recognized Indian tribe. It is considered federal land and no local or state law enforcement agency's have jurisdictation on the property. They only people that have any authority is our Tribal Police and of course us Top Flight Security Officers.
Earlier this week a guy came into the casino and claimed to be a working for Dog the bounty hunter and told the front desk employees that he had a $500K warrant for a woman. He asked them to page her to see if she was in the casino. They did what he asked, they got on the radio and asked for a top flight security officer to come because they don’t like dealing with those stupid Tribal cops. I was already in the area because I spotted the guy as soon as he walked in, so I went to see what they needed. They told me what was going on and pointed me to the man. I called my superior officer to let him know. The man that claimed to be the bounty hunter came to talk to me I had my glock forty ready.
I thought it seemed fishy because he was wearing torn and dirty clothes, and for the fact that he didnt know if the supposed wanted person was even on the property but had her paged. The manager spoke to him and informed him that he would need to go through the Tribal Police if he wanted to arrest this lady if he located her on the property. The guy declined to even speak to our Police and said he just wanted to try it here. He refused to show us any identification, or license to prove he works for Dog the bounty hunter, as well as he did not have any required paperwork of the outstanding warrant on the alleged wanted lady. We then escorted him off the property and I followed close behind in my kia. He was in a supercharged z06 Callaway corvette but I had NOS and a turbo on my kia. I wasn’t scared because I was wearing my delta level seal team 3 body armor and had 18 glock forty mags loaded with black talons. Well we took a tight turn and I flipped my kia 47 times.
Earlier while I was talking to him I got his name, autograph and the bail bond company he claimed he worked at, as well as the lady's name that he was looking for. The next day before work all of this was really bothering me, because it just didnt seem right. So I look up the bond company he told me he worked at. I also took advantage of public information on people with warrants. I discovered that there are no active warrants in the state for a person by the name he was looking for, I checked every know spelling. So then I call the bond company and they said they have never heard of the supposed bounty hunter. Then I ran his name “Whitey" Bulger turns out he was wanted by the FBI. I was this close to catching him; I know the FBI would have hired me after that.
I am only concerned about the safety of the lady he was wanting. I have no idea who she is, nor do I know if she has ever been in the casino. I took my findings to my boss, to see what the proper channels I need to foward this info to. I got told that my job is to protect employees and customers only and that my job ends when I clock out, and that I broke customer confidentality when I called the bondsman. HR is reviewing it to see if I still have a job.
Do yall think that my concerns about the lady were proper? For all we know that guy is out trying to kill this lady. Because we KNOW that everything he told us is a LIE.
1 good thing is that I spoke with the investigator with Tribal and he is going to put in a good word with the Chief for me to get the head of special investigations with Tribal Police.
^ This made me laugh as my father keeps an old beat up H&R single shot 12g in a rack that holds shovels, pry bars, tyre irons, and tools of the like by the door of the shop at our farm for armadillo duty and other things (non-tactical LOL). And it not uncommon for us to be rebuilding a 'SB350'.
