Was the woman to the left of the store owner (the guy who shot the perp) about to draw, herself? Looked like she was reaching into her waistband when the shooting started, and she decided not to.

Don't know any more about it except some of the comments in the original article were insane. There's actually people defending the robber. One said "he appeared to display a gun" is that somehow different from "displayed a gun"? Another said he only pointed his gun but didn't actually "declare a robbery" Probably was a guy from California, out there it's not a robbery unless you were notified by registered mail.
Wouldn’t the owner actually have to demonstrate his tackling skills in order to be a receipt checker, er, I mean greeter?
