Proposed change to Classified Rules

I would vote for a post count of 50 and at least three months on the forum, or a year on the forum with any number of posts.

I tend to agree with those comments about maybe a 3 month period and 40-50 posts....

I read the forum almost every day but don't post that often. I joined in '05 and only have about 1500 posts. So I think a combination of time and post number might work better.

i see posters on here with thousand of post that haven't contributed much of anything and i see posters with 2 post that both were meaningfull.

Under these pretenses you should probably just get rid of the classifieds altogether. I'm reminded why I've spent hardly any time on here at all over the last two years...

I don't mind the 50 post/6 month wait but I am on the fence about hiding the classifieds. I'm sure that lures people in and some may join just for them and turn into active members. On the flip side, I'm sure it lures in a lot of turds too

I'm thinking 6 months and 500 posts. Too many DBs trying to gouge good standing community members.
