both romney and obama agree on the NDAA, patriot act, the secret kidnapping, detention, and execution of americans without warrant or charges.

bush II issued nearly twice the executive orders obama has by this point in his first term...

i'm hoping for a lame duck president and a divided congress. the less they accomplish, the better.

once in control, republicans become inexplicably big government...

For this group it should be easy. Both will do the same damage, spend too much and get us into wars we shouldn't be in.

BUT......... with Obama, you get a greater Police State and the destruction of the 2nd Ammendment. He has already said he wants to start by bringing back the Clinton Administrations restrictions. Stock up on those high capacity magazines now.

romney has already made permanent the clinton restrictions.

with a split congress, it would be difficult to have anti-gun legislation passed. republicans like to talk conservative while they're not in power.

I'll admit that a small part of me wants to vote for Obama, just to finish pushing this ridiculous government over the cliff already. The sooner we do, the sooner we can start over.

The responsible side of me still retains the majority though. For that reason, I can't vote for either candidate in good conscience. I can't say this is an especially brave choice in Oklahoma though. Romney will get our 7 electoral votes by a landslide. I don't expect Obama to carry a single Oklahoma district. It's an easy choice to make knowing that my vote has no effect whatsoever on the outcome. I wonder if I could make the same choice in Ohio? I'd like to think I could, but who knows?

This is easy. Here is the question: If this guy was a private-sector employee, and his employment was purely merit-based,
and you were his employer, would he still have his job?
