No, I don't condone wars that are not a direct response to a direct aggression. Support of such wars is a source of many of this country's problems.

These " occupy" people are really on to something. So much so, I think my wife and I
will try the "occupy Vegas". I think it will be either at the end of this month or the beginning of
November. I know we'll fight the system by protesting that corporate monster called The Mirage.

While my wife spends some time investigating the evils of blackjack and poker, I'll investigate and
"occupy" the Wynn golf course and the single deck blackjack table at the El Cortez.

Down with the system, don't let the man bring you down, and.......Viva Las Vegas!

I'll be out there in early November. I need to see who has the highest profit margins out of MGM and Harrah's properties and demand my fair share. After all, I've given them my free time in exchange for entertainment, it's the least they could do.

The "occupy" movement's battle cry of "capitalism doesn't work", "down with capitalism and corporations" makes no sense.

What these protesters don't realize is that in a socialist utopia, like they are crying for, the "haves" still have all of the money and the "have nots" are not allowed to protest.

What I don't think these people realize is that their movement is being backed by the same entities that have squandered our tax dollars, namely our president who hand picked the winners and loosers of the stimulus money.

A big problem we have is the language used. Few people realize, that all systems are capitalist. Social Capitalist, Communal Capitalist, and so on. We are supposed to be practicing Free Market Capitalism, but we got away from that some time ago. Still, it's commonly the one people label as "Capitalism" with a sneer. Leaving off the Free Market part of the title allows them to delude themselves into believing we really have it. You won't hear any of these protesters yell "Down with freedom" but in a nutshell, it's what they are saying.

If I hear one more time "I can't find a GOOD job and it's the .gov and big corp.'s fault" I am gonna puke. I cannot tell you how many jobs I have worked in my lifetime that were "beneath" me. Geez, just go get a damn job already ... even it if is "beneath" you it's better than nothing ... Just because you are working a job (or two) doesn't mean you can't keep looking for a better one.
