If he is in Oklahoma look him up on www.oscn.net under dockets by name. http://www.oscn.net/applications/oscn/start.asp?viewType=DOCKETS

It will tell you if a protection order has been issued / declined and any expiration dates at the bottom of the page. If it's expired I don't think it is an issue or concern.

If somebody falsely testified to obtain an Emergency Protection Order or standard Protection Order that is a crime (Purjury) (http://www.oscn.net/applications/oscn/deliverdocument.asp?id=69201&hits=) (http://www.oscn.net/applications/oscn/deliverdocument.asp?id=69197&hits=). If they had a standard Protection Order Hearing and he either failed to present his side or failed to show up and one was issued against him because of that it may be on him.

lol he is a good guy just was with a crazy ***** and they hand vpos out like candy

I can relate to this one. My last divorce, I was served with VPO papers. I asked the soon to be ex what was going on and she didn't know either. After contacting her attorney, she found out that it was her attorneys standard practice on ALL divorces that she handled to get a VPO against the male party. Her explanation was that it was a "better bargaining tool" to get what her clients wanted and that it was for the safety of her clients.

My ex fired her and called the county clerk and told them to cancel the order and she would not be needing it. I still had to pay the county clerk fees, but the order was cancelled.
