Question for Pilots

1. Red is never right.
2. That altitude lost is called “Driftdown”
3. Depends on when and what speed you lose the engine.
4. Pilots are ok, Flight Engineers are okay’r.
5. A barn door sized rudder can make up for a lot of things.
6. Google 737 Drift down procedure.

7. Remember #4 and you will be fine.

Now if you're flying a Cessna 336 or 337 it just goes down

As a general rule... the slower the aircraft, the better your chances of gliding to a safe landing.

If your setting in the pilots chair and look out the left window you should see the DOCK
If you look out the right window you should see STARS
