I've got an old buttstock feed Remy 241 Speedmaster "gallery gun" chambered for 22 shorts that I love and still shoot that was passed down to me. It reliably cycles CB's, too. Great old rimfire rifle.

I like the patina look.. I would not change it ..I would speak to it softly and rub it with oil and shoot it.

I've got plenty like that! One of my favorites is this old s&w hand ejector. Looks rough but shoots great!!

Nothing heard back yet from the gunsmith. He was the gunsmith for many years at the old Outdoor America store; now at Henry's Guns in Yukon. He told me it might take him some time to get it done. It's been like 3 weeks since I dropped it off...I'm going to give it another week or so then drive over to Henry's or give him a call.
