I love mine. Its also funny to wait til someone walks by and start it. My wife knows I have it and I can still spook her here and there when shes going out to leave in the morning for work and it just starts up beside her.

I recently bought a car with remote and the more I use it the more I like it. I like to let the car run a little when possible before I put it in gear. When we get ice and snow, starting it earlier will melt the ice on the windshield, rear window and mirrors by the time I get to it.
Highly recommended.

I had a pick-up with the remote start, I would take my dog with me and just before it started there was a little click anh he would put his paws on the steering wheel to see if I was coming and then it would start! He got some real curious looks from people!!

Garage parking > remote start.

( Converted the garage to a studio. Wife still isnt happy about it. We went in half on the house and I convinced her that I needed it for my career and that the garage fell on my half. I'm still sleeping on a couch, in my studio,on my half of the house- 7 years later...).

It is nice to go out to a warmed up vehicle in cold weather or a cool one in hot weather. I hit mine from the kitchen while getting ready to leave. A well tuned engine,a fresh starter, good battery, and true duals with glass packs and that remote start just makes it vrooom. And no need to worry about someone stealing it while its sitting in the driveway warming up- as soon as someone gets in and hits the brake pedal it shuts down and the doors relock,if they try to get out by unlocking the door from the inside without it being disarmed again the alarm goes off with them still in the vehicle. My kids have done it to me too many times to count.

It's an awesome investment. I love mine more than I can express.

I've also got an in-box new Autopage unit in my attic if you're interested you can have cheap. You'll need to get someone to do the install, though, as I don't do them.

Me and the wife have them on both cars. We use the autopage alarm remote start with lcd remotes. I can start both vehicles with 1 remote. They are spendy but worth it. I believe they were 400 installed each.

Hey funny I happened across this thread. My name is Eric, I own a small business called 12Volt Auto Specialists. I have 8 years experience and have worked for several large shops and trained several of the installers in Tulsa (just the best ones :D) I currently have a special on a 1 button remote start system and can install it in your car for $210 total. It's made by DEI and all of our installs are guaranteed for as long as you own your car. I am under the assumption your key has remote buttons on it? You will need the bypass, which is included in the $210 price quote. You'll also need to surrender a key that will be placed into the module and hidden well under the dash of your car. My website is www.12vautospecialists.com, my direct contact information and email submission form is there. We also do stereos, amps, subs, tint, troubleshooting and security. We are a mobile service and perform all installs on site at your convenience. I hope to hear from you!
