37 states now. Since OK let's 18-20 carry if, in the military, WA canceled our reciprocity.

Mine expires in January.
Per the statute,
“A license may be renewed any time within ninety (90) days of the
expiration date”.
So, since I can’t renew it yet, I have to do the initial training when I renew in January ? Or does the July 1 date only apply to expired licenses?

I can attest to the bypass on the NICS background check. They should allow it, but some have said that they are still "worried about the legality" of the law, at which point I would leave, but thats me. I unfortunately, renewed my CCW for 10 years, right before the law was enacted, so I have another 4 years of NICS background check free goodness.

An OK license also can serve as a form of ID if/when one wants to get a Real ID.
