Here's a pic of my Ruger GP100. I picked it up before Christmas but have not been to the range just yet....

They are shipping with Hogue monogrips now instead of the old rubber grips with wood inserts.

This old S&W was taken from an individual that I found in our security zone while stationed in Korea in 1971. He was trying to monitor our secure communications. I shipped it back to the states, and have been using it for home protection, and the occasional armadillo in the yard. It had lots of corrosion, but it finally came off with TLC, and 0000 steel wool.

I just bought a S&W .22 at an auction last weekend. Its a K-22 Masterpiece in .22 cal.

Later models I've seen aren't recessed and have orange inserts.

Mine had the black blade. It's since been milled and slotted to accept pinned front sights. I'll post pics of it someday, but it's on loan to the current IDPA Stock Service Revolver National Champion as a backup gun. It's not nearly as pretty as yours, but it won the 2005 Nationals for me, so I'm pretty happy with it.
