How much oil did we get out of Iraq? I've lost count
On balance, I'd have to say none, but we've taught them how to live and who to vote for, and it didn't cost us but a few thousand lives and a couple trillion dollars. And the situation over there is worse instead of better. But what the heck? We did our best right? And you were behind it all the way

Then tell me good sir, if oil in the region wasnt the goal, what was?

Answering my question with a question isn't really answering my question. You say oil is the Republican Party world interest. Please tell me the last time the US has comandeered oil. Your just doing drive byes with no substance!

LOL, Ryan doesnt even know his own parties world interest....OIL!!!!

Mr Cue,

The Iraq War (and all it's predecessor variants) were launched with bi-partisan, and strong bi-partisan, support. As far as I can tell Americans of both parties and our various European allies too, use oil.

Now, if the current Democrat administration were so convinced of the need to strategically de-link from oil - vice being ideologically motivated to embrace "Green" - we would be pushing domestic production heavily. That would make sense, not frustrating domestic energy production that is significant (fossil fuel), while pushing relatively insignificant Green projects.

Here is a fact that Ryan puts out.

"If you tax every small business making over $250,000, at 100% it can only run the government for 98 days"

"if everybody that paid income taxes last year including sucessfull small businesses doubled their income taxes this year, we would still have a 350 billion deficit. There aren't enough small businesses and rich people to pay for the dems spending."

I agree.
