Looking pretty good around here. I might not even pick any this year. Mom and dad still have several quarts of sand plum juice from the mother load, I picked a couple years ago.

Oh I have to pick them. My wife keeps selling jars at church functions for the different woman's ministries and I have donated a couple for different bake auctions we have have at work to raise money for people in need or charities. Wife was ecstatic that her last jar went for $45.

What would there be as far as restrictions of selling sandplum jelly at a the fairgrounds during the MIO event? I keep tellig my wife that could be a real money maker for the woman's ministry at church. Get all the ladys together, can up 20 gallons of jelly and sell it by the pint jar.......should be able to do a lot of good with that money.

Well I just fired off a message to the .gov to see what would be needed. I guess we can see what they say. I hope it works out. I wouldn't mind sitting in a booth selling (and sampling) the ladies jellies for several good causes. Maybe our men's group can even get in on some of the action and money for our charities by picking the berries!

We actually just picked up a new ministry of helping single mothers, this may be a great way to fund it if we can make it happen.

Some sand plums are ready here. Some still have awhile. Did you find out any details?
