Like I said before...They will schedule it for the last day to look like they want to do it but then they will not get to it, just like last year and the year before.

Thats how they keep your vote for next year.

That"s probably true , but here is one for them to think about. Since they FAILED to get it done in time my VOTE and support goes to the OTHER person running again'st them . Maybe it will take awhile but we can get rid of the RINO"S.

I don't think constitutional carry has a chance at passing right now.. only have to look at how hard Law enforcement officials and many of the Legislators are pushing back against permited open carry. I'm all for SB1733 being heard & passed now. Then if the legislators want to jack around next year with Constitutional Carry.. they can take all the time they want trying to work it out.. as then it won't affect any of us with permits one bit whether it passes or not.
There are more people under that dome on 23rd and Lincoln that support full 2A rights than you give credit to. Not all of them by any means but more than 50% I would guess.
If Russel and the others behind this have it in there minds that now is a good time to reach for the holy grail, then they have my full support to do so. These guys arent stupid and know a little about how to use the process to get what we want.
They have a plan A and a plan B right now and that should say something about their intent.

They need to remember it is not just us on the forum they have to be concerned with.. but also our adult family & friends who think our way and vote. Not to mention our money we use to support those who work for pro-gun laws. Plus between us, we talk to 1,000's of people throughout the year about 2nd amendment gun rights.. so we can have a great influence on their re-elections.

My concern is the Senators are gonna end-up wasting time sending Fallin a bill she can't sign. She has plans on running for US Senator.. and she isn't gonna go to radical in gun rights as compared to the majority of other states.

Odd....the conference committee simply restored HB2522 to it's original language. Now we have HB2522 and SB1733 which are identical.

SMART! Doesn't that mean they basically get two shots at it? If for some reason it doesn't pass today, they can make their calls and deals and get another shot at it as HB2522.

Also, this may sound heartless since she passed away during the session this year but doesn't it seem that 2A rights have made giant leaps forward this session now that Tibbs isn't blocking things.
