Watching this on video, these guys arent very punctual...
Who knows...they may combine the 2 bills to show bi-partisanship.. how the House and Senate came together to get a joint bill. That way both houses have their name on it.

But she didn't have to go through another election. She was already elected to and serving in her last term. Not blocking it last year or not blocking it this year would be the same to her. She was already in her last term.
